The Opportunity

*Must reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX Metro and be willing to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days onsite/1 day remote*

 

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a frontline sales role that involves identifying new opportunities, handling inbound leads, nurturing marketing leads into sales qualified leads, and contributing to the sales pipeline. This role is primarily focused on turning marketing qualified leads into sales qualified leads. The role is office based.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Create Sales Qualified Leads (SQL’s).
  • Prospecting for new business by cold calling and generating new leads, handling the inbound sales requests, and following up on existing opportunities.
  • Prioritize and qualify existing leads within the CRM database that may be generated from tradeshows, tele-sales, marketing, referrals, website, consultants, and call campaigns.
  • Categorize potential customers, in line with the Customer Categorization Model.
  • Work collaboratively with the New Business Development Managers and provide support where required and booking appointments.
  • Send quotes to customers and proactively following up in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all internal systems (CRM & ERP) and databases are updated timely and accurately.
  • Actively participate in internal and external meetings where attendance is required.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a Sales Development role, specifically in B2B Sales.
  • Demonstrated capability of establishing new business relationships.
  • Ability to make at least 50 outbound calls per day, minimum. 
  • A self-starter personality with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Confident and professional telephone etiquette.
  • IT literate, preferably with working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working as part of a sales team
  • Previous experience or knowledge of the health & safety industry is a plus!

 

Compensation:

Estimated Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000 USD annually. Exact compensation is dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in our company commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
