Temporary People Advisor (Employee Relations & Projects)
Location: Onsite at our HQ in Elland, West Yorkshire
Reporting to: Head of HR
Contract type: Temporary. Full-time or Part-Time option. Flexible hours TBA.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced and adaptable People Advisor (Temp) to provide hands-on support across employee relations casework and key People team projects during a period of increased demand. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced HR team and make a tangible impact from day one.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a key point of contact for ER matters, advising managers and ensuring timely, compliant resolution of cases.
- Manage a varied ER caseload, from performance and conduct to absence and grievances.
- Support the delivery of ongoing People projects — such as policy reviews, process improvements, or documentation updates — contributing insight and momentum.
- Assist with manager-facing training or briefing sessions on ER topics, where relevant
What we’re looking for:
- Immediate availability and solid experience handling ER issues in a fast-moving environment.
- A confident communicator who can advise managers and build credibility quickly.
- A team player who’s comfortable juggling operational tasks with project-based support.
