Shift Maintenance Engineer

Location: Elland, West Yorkshire

Shift Pattern: Continental (4on/4off), 12-hour shifts, days & nights

Reporting to: Maintenance Manager

Start date: Immediate

Salary: Up to £45k (inc Shift Allowance)

The Opportunity

As a Shift Maintenance Engineer at A-SAFE, you will be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance functions, optimizing equipment performance, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

In this role, you will be:

• Performing both planned & reactive maintenance tasks as well as contributing towards continuous improvement activities 

• Reducing downtime by reacting to production breakdowns in a safe and timely manner 

• Completing the PPM schedule & closing down work orders on the CMMS 

• Working at height in our automated warehouse

• Equipment Improvements.

• Installation of New equipment

• Compliance with Health & Safety legislation. Safety first 

• Complete daily & weekly compliant checks 

• This role requires you to be comfortable with working at height. Full training will be given for you to perform this task safely.

The ideal candidate:

• Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical & Mechanical
• Previous manufacturing industry experience (Plastics preferred) 
• Ideally 17th/18th Edition electrical regulations qualified.
• Qualifications – Level 3 diploma in electrical installations or equivalent  
• MUST be willing to work on a continental shift basis.
• Apprentice trained or equivalent.
