Product Specialist

The Opportunity

We are Safeguru, an e-commerce company specialising in industrial safety products and personal protective equipment, leading the way in health and safety digital content.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team. As a Product Specialist, you will manage product development, pricing strategies, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful product launches and competitiveness in the markets of Spain, the UK, and Germany.

In this role, you will contribute to: 

Product Development

• Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and customer needs.
• Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate product options and assess quality.
• Ensure all products meet compliance and certification requirements.
• Maintain accurate product information in the system.
• Work with marketing and sales teams to successfully launch new products.

Pricing Strategy

• Perform competitive analysis to monitor market trends and competitor pricing.
• Develop pricing models to balance profitability and competitiveness.
• Create seasonal and campaign-based pricing strategies in coordination with marketing.
• Analyze product margins and recommend optimization strategies.
• Utilize data insights to adjust pricing strategies based on trends.

Cross-Functional Support

• Support sales with technical expertise on new products.
• Collaborate with operations to forecast demand for existing and new products.
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely delivery of products at the right cost.
