Role overview
We are urgently looking to recruit an additional Shopfloor Cleaner for our manufacturing site here on Ainley's Industrial Estate in Elland.
Previous industrial cleaning experience is essential.
Working as a cleaner and part of a team, you will be responsible for maintaining the production environment to the best standards.
These are not temporary positions so applications from people looking for long term stable part time employment are most welcome.
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time
Salary: £12.07 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Schedule: 9.00am – 17.30pm Monday to Friday
Experience:
- cleaning: 1 year (required)
How you can help us in this role:
- To ensure all walkways in the department are cleaned daily and kept clear from obstruction
- To ensure that the floor is cleaned weekly with the floor cleaner.
- Faults, breakdowns with any cleaning equipment to be reported to the department production manager and maintenance
- Ensure all areas between shop floor machines are kept clean and free from debris to allow a safe working area.
- Clean all barriers around the facility weekly
- Clean up after any water, oil from leaks spills onto the shop floor
- Work safely and within the environmental rules for the company
- Ensure any waste water, oil or any other debris cleaned from the shop floor is disposed of in the correct manner and into the correct containers
- Carry out any other duties as and when requested by production manager
- Fulfil any reasonable request
