The role of the Sales Director for account management is achieve revenues in line with the annual plan by driving sales performance across the sales teams in existing accounts. To grow through increasing active purchasing sites and average spend per site in both new and existing products. To support the Managing Director driving sales processes then monitoring activity to maximise growth opportunities. Dealing with under performance in a timely and appropriate manner.
o Sales and net margin in the UK and Ireland market to exceed budget. Aim to exceed the sales targets in all sales territories.
o Increase number of active sites purchasing A-SAFE products and increase average spend per annum in line with agreed budgets.
o Deliver on the sales strategy to bring focus on key accounts and national accounts.
o Drive the input activity of calls, quotes and conversions. Accurately record activity in CRM.
o Responsible for the strategic activity of the Customer Success Manager and other customer facing internal roles.
o A high-performance team is built and managed to deliver agreed strategy, results and KPIs working collaboratively across the region.
o There is a strong link with the various support functions at the UK HQ.
Essential:
· Demonstrable experience of building revenues in existing accounts through account management, driving sales teams to achieve ambitious revenue and profit targets.
· Evidence of managing and improving productivity through effective use of metrics methodologies.
· Strong leadership skills, developing and driving teams through period of change.
· Comfortable operating in matrix management structures.
· Demonstrable knowledge of processes used in the sale of industrial products in a B2B environment.
· Has gravitas and the ability to build relationships at all levels with blue-chip end users in relevant business sectors.
· Understands and can live by the A-SAFE values.
Desirable:
· Existing contacts and customers within the manufacturing and logistics sector in the UK and Ireland
· Ideally you are within commutable distance to our Head Office in Elland, West Yorkshire and would be comfortable being on-site 1 or 2 days a week
