Role overview

The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in expanding A-SAFE's market presence and driving revenue growth. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the industrial safety sector.

How you can help us in this role:

Market Research and Analysis:   

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
  • Analyse market data to develop strategies for targeting potential clients and expanding market reach.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute business development plans.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales performance, and market conditions.

Product Knowledge and Training:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of A-SAFE's products and services.
  • Provide product demonstrations and training to clients as needed.

What we would like you to bring to our team:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of the industrial safety sector and related products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
